Why we exist

Portfolio factsheets still lean on geography and asset-class labels. Live markets often ignore those labels. Indexmesh Hub was formed in the City to give desks a careful, human reading of global index correlation analysis — the kind of note you can take into a risk committee without translating jargon mid-meeting.

Origin

The practice grew out of sell-side and multi-asset research work in London, where the recurring request was not for another heat-map screenshot but for a written explanation of when correlations broke and what that meant for a specific book. We kept the craft of the memorandum and left product packaging behind.

How we work

We favour named observation windows, documented index series, and stress periods agreed with the client up front. Findings are written in plain English first, with technical appendices for analysts who want the detail. Meetings happen at our Poultry office or by secure video when desks are travelling.

People

Briefings are prepared by analysts with market research backgrounds, then reviewed for clarity before they leave the office. Clients always speak with the person who signed the note — not a rotating “success” contact.

Values

  • Specificity over spectacle — fewer charts, clearer captions.
  • Honest limits — we say when a window is too short to support a strong claim.
  • Committee manners — tone suitable for trustees and CIOs, not trading-floor theatre.

London base

We work from Level 8, 35 Poultry, London EC2R 8EJ, within walking distance of Bank and the insurance markets that still ask hard questions about diversification.
